Day 3 of the Bird Flu

Or that's what I'm calling it anyway. T1 seems a bit better today. Children's Nyquil R-O-C-K-S! It was a late night though. You can see in the picture that he's still fevery. Ignore the pants. Yes, I do know that they say "freakin' sweet" but they were also 77 cents at Target. I'd let a lot of stuff slide for 77cents. And yes, I realize he's in the same clothes as he was yesterday but I'm telling you,,, he's really sick! I may need to light that couch on fire.

T2 is sufficiently bored to death. He doesn't have T1 to pester and aggravate (his favorite pasttime) He even created something for himself to do. He wanted to build a "house". So I set him to work with some wood scraps, hammer and nails.

After about 30 minutes of furious pounding and work he came in very disappointed. "I was kinda thinkin' it would be big enough for me to stand in!"
I had to tell him all the reasons that he was not going to build a shack in my backyard. Not exactly asthetically pleasing. So he set off for the woods to search out a tree to build a house in. He nailed a few tomato stakes into a tree and realized that yes, mommy was right again, not strong enought to hold his weight. He gets really ticked off when he doesn't heed my warnings. He seems to think that I have it out for him, but,,, that's T2,, it's just the way he is.

Yesterday was a GORGEOUS day and none of us could get out. Even the cats were stressed! Wow,, someone needs to clean off their craft table.

Hope T1 is all better soon. How cool that your cats are crafters - and, here I've been thinking it had something to do with opposable thumbs.
