One more.
Yes I know, three posts in one day. Excessive. I just had to share this! I think it's the best idea ever. You wash your hands with the water that will eventually flush your commode! This is a superior idea for many reasons:
1. You don't have to touch anything (other than the flush handle)
2. The water will run as long as it takes to fill your tank. (Ensuring good handwashing time)
3. Water conservation (if you're into that)
4. I get to use the water that my overly expensive private sewer company charges me for TWO TIMES! YEAH!
These should become standard for public bathrooms. Especially the ones with the auto flushers (which scare the crap outta me all the time btw!)
Here's a link to where you can buy one. The price is very resonable!

That is so clever!! Not very attractive but clever all the same. The only drawback I can see, besides the aesthetics, is straddling the toilet bowl while you wash. ;)
Unfortunately, most of those auto flush toilets don't have tanks to fill. Just plumbing straight to the wall.
"scare the crap outta me" ? Hopefully, by the time you're flushing you're past the danger of that happening...again. Bahaha I amuse me so...
I'm trying to ignore your egg post because I've been lazy and we have a nice pile of *regular* eggs in the fridge. Have you read What to Eat? There's a link in the sidebar of my blog.
HAHAHA! You said "scare the crap out of me!"
Sorry.
Our fancy-schmancy public library is only 2 years old and recently their auto-potties began flushing about 2 seconds after you sit on them. I hate that!
With a house full of boys, I'm reluctant to put my knee on the toilet seat! LOL You know what I mean!!
Jeff pointed out another drawback on the toilet/sink... cold water.
That is interesting.
I had the hardest time when Lydia was potty training. She hated those auto flushes and refused to go. They still scare her!
I can see my kids have a party with this little item. "water water everywhere" I think is the phrase that fits :)
